Goal Digger: July 2019
\I've been back in the gym and working on my finances. My mental and spiritual presence is back to normal and I've also been going out more, solo dolo. I'm happy to say that although, my January goals are some things I still plan to work on, I have grown through my depression and anxiety and I have brand new goals. Let's get into them. gy and getting back to a place of happiness and peace.
I've been back in the gym and working on my finances. My mental and spiritual presence is back to normal and I've also been going out more, solo dolo. I'm happy to say that although, my January goals are some things I still plan to work on, I have grown through my depression and anxiety and I have brand new goals. Let's get into them.
I don't have a problem going out by myself during the day, but going out at night is where I have the problem. I won't be going to any club or bars alone, but I will be taking more invites from friends and coworkers to enjoy a night on the town.
Meditation and prayer have been major factors in getting through my anxiety, depression, and this crazy ass break-up. Though we broke in late December, it took me a bit longer to get over him because I wanted to be able to maintain a friendship with him. Taking a break from him is definitely what I needed to be able to get him out of my system. I will continue to meditate, work on my energy, and also keep God as the center of my existence.
I've been able to save and spend only what I needed. My mother relocating to Texas has really shown me how to care for a home and really take care of business. It's the first time I've had to pay for everything. Yeah, I know I'm 31 years old, but your progress ain't mine...MIND YO BIZNAASSSS! I'll continue to save and ONLY spend on what the boys and I need this month.
That first day back in the gym was so challenging. I was in pain for a week. Lesson learned: don't do the elliptical machine and the stair climber in the same visit. Other than that, changing my eating habits and patterns has been one of the greatest things I could do. I'm even considering going vegan. I'm doing all the proper research on it first though. Can't just jump into something you know nothing about....like this blog lol. That's a different story for a different day though. Going to the gym a minimum of three times a week is my goal this month.
