Current Obsession: October 2019
I found myself kind of obsessed with my skin the last couple of months. I noticed that I was starting to break out more and more, which is very unusual. I'm a part of, what seems like, the 1% of people that have dry skin in the world. So for me to have a break out of any kind, we have a problem. I've been using a combination of two different cleansers the last couple of months. Ageless Total Facial Cleanser by Image Skincare is my fav of the two and here's why: it has glycolic acid to gently exfoliate skin and salicylic acid to keep pores clean of dirt, makeup, and debris. The other cleanser is the Positively Radiant Micellar Gel Cleanser by Aveeno. I like this one because it helps to break down heavy makeup and doesn't over dry my skin. Micells act as magnets to attract dirt and left over makeup to give you the freshest, cleanest skin.
Hailing from Dallas, Texas, Savoy Beauty holds a special place in my heart. I share this with you as unbiased as possible, being that the brand owner is my best friend. I've never quite used a body butter as comfortable as this. It's whipped to perfection, non-greasy, and smells so damn good! Made with ingredients like shea butter, mango butter, and essential oils, this product is sure to leave your skin feeling velvety smooth. The formula has been reformulated in the last couple of months but I will also link the first review of this product HERE if you'd like to see how I felt about the first formulation.
I love fresh, earthy scents, so it's no secret that I keep an Aveda fragrance (or 3) in stock. These multi-purpose sprays are great as body aromas, room sprays, pillow mists and more. Mostly, I use my sprays on erogenous zones like behind my ears, the folds of my arms, between my breasts and on my wrists. Depending on what I want to achieve or balance during mediation sessions, I use them to deepen focus as well.
As long as I can remember, I've been a nail biter. Just recently I was able to stop biting my nails and grow them out. The process was hard but I managed to do it, but when I feel tempted I always make sure to apply press-on nails so that I don't bite them. I'm always drawn to Kiss Acrylic nails because they last a very long time. As an esthetician, I work in water and oils all day, everyday. These nails stay put for up to three full weeks for me. I also love to apply a gel coat to my nails. Kiara Sky has such a beautiful range of colors in their collections.
So here we have it! These are just a few things that I've been obsessed with the last month. What are some of your favorites? I want to know your recommendations too. Let me know below in the comments. Don't forget to like, share and SUBSCRIBE!!! Until next time...
