Goal Digger: July

June flew by quicker than February, but we're officially on the other side of 2018. Congratulations, you've made it! It's crazy to see how fast we've gotten here. JULY!!!! Honestly, I've been living my absolute best life this year so I can understand how we got here. Time really flies when you're having fun.

As I type this post, I'm working between scheduling posts for Instagram and this. I ran across a post that said something along the lines of, use the next 6 months to manifest everything you've set out to do this year. Don't speak, just do. Work in silence, work diligently, just work. I don't remember verbatim what it said because I can't find the post anymore but it really dug deep. All 2017, everything I did was in silence. I feel like that was meant for me to see as a simple reminder. I think I've been a little too vocal in my goals this year and I need to stop talking and just do!

June in Review

In the world of social media, I officially give up! Instagram is an ever changing organism. My engagement went from 10k one week to just under 3k the next week. It's incredibly frustrating to work so hard to increase traffic and feel like you're getting nowhere. It's insane! I give up on Instagram. I will however, continue to work on the platforms I know I can increase.

I really tried to focus on self this month. I went to get a massage. I have a membership with Massage Envy I also had more prayer time than normal. I haven't been journaling like I did in May but I've definitely been doing my thing spiritually.

June proved to be my most unorganized month EVER! With my oldest son home for the summer, it's been harder to keep the house clean...and to write, hence, me being a lot behind on my posts for the month. I find myself having to constantly entertain my children. They always want to play and eat. My off days are definitely not my off days this summer.

This damn passport keeps slipping my mind. Forgive me!

In order to give my mom a more immediate break, I've been coming home directly after work , which means my workouts and eating clean took a super back seat this month.

What's In Store For July?

Now, more than ever, my need to be self sufficient and organized is a main goal. Re-branding Phoenix Beauty 101 has taken me a while but I'm coming into my niche more and more. My goals for the month of July will reflect who I'm becoming.

1. Consistency

2. Writing More

3. More Makeup

4. Cook! Cook! Cook!

5. Save! Save! $$$$$ave!!!!

6. Journal More!

7. Improve on Content!

I know this Goal Digger is a little more modified this month but just as long as you know what I'm working on this month, do you really need an explanation???
