Current Obsession: BECCA BFFs

If you've been rocking with me since the beginning, you know my love for all things BECCA Cosmetics. Their highlighters are my absolute favs, so it should come as no surprise that I had to cop the latest collab with real life besties Khloe Kardashian and Malika Haqq.

The collection features 2 glow face palettes, a set of glow letters in the shape of X's and O's and 4 limited edition lipstick shades. Each piece of the collection, except for the Sweetheart Glow Letters, all come with Khloe and Malika's own shade.

Being the beautiful brown girl that I am, I purchased Malika's version of the palette. It includes the shades Dusted, Yes Girl, Bestie Bronze and Make Me Blush.

I also purchased the Sweetheart Glow Letters. To be honest, they don't really flatter my skin. To say women of color as a whole would be a stretch but for me, they were a bit beige. I tried to make it work though. Once I applied the creme version of Rose Gold as a base and Sweetheart on top of it, I was more pleased with it. The Sweetheart Glow Letters include 2 shades, Shimmering Bronze and Golden Champagne.

I attempted to do my whole face with these two items and I will just say the first attempt was a little too illuminated for me...and I'm the glow queen. The second attempt wasn't as bad. I didn't use the lipsticks from the collection because I didn't purchase them, but I did use the BECCA Ultimate Lipstick Love in Chocolate to finish the look.

So there you have it. My thoughts on the BECCA BFF's Collection. My bestie would say I'm a bit biased but I absolutely LOVE BECCA Cosmetics. Did you happen to pick up this collection?
