Goal Digger: April 2020
I'm back BITCHES!!!! What's been going on you guys? Wow, what a whirlwind 2020 has been so far! From the death of an NBA Icon, to Miss Corona, literally, shutting the world down. It's only April and it feels like the year 2020 has lasted 10 years already. Where's the restart button?
Regardless of what's happening in the world, you shouldn't allow it to deter you from the things you set out to do at the start of the year. With that said, I took an official cleanse to get myself together and figure out what's important to my brand. Here's what I found:
1. I had no clue who I was as a brand. If you read around the site, you'll see all kinds of topics from the last few years ranging from skin to mental health, beauty, and random stuff. I've decide to focus only on what I know, so from now on phoenixbeauty101.com will be dedicated to skin, motherhood, and beauty.
2. I've rediscovered my passions and that's what's important. More topics like #SkinSeries #spaseries and #mommyandme will be coming in 2020.
3. I was trying to do too much. Starting out, you try to be like everyone else when really, it just discourages you when you can't keep up. I'm blogging for me now!
4. I learned had no community. I've spent the last few weeks building a community and figuring out my audience. I'm now confident in who my target audience is how to fully engage them.
5. I don't spend nearly enough time updating my site as I should. In the beginning, I use to stay up until ungodly hours of the night just to update and now, I don't give it the time of day. That will change here in the near future.
So this month, I'll be dedicating this time in quarantine to the things I've listed above to assure phoenixbeauty101.com is running effectively, growing exponentially, and is a space where everyone can find something they can relate to. If you've been along with me on this struggle of a journey, thank you for supporting me. If you're new on this ride, welcome aboard. I'm excited to have you here.
Tell me in the comments below how you're using this quarantine time to restart, or boss up. Until next time...
